Callie

Callie has a huge reach in the front as well as a big back end. She has a very, deep, consistent, head shake, resembling that of her sire Southern Playboy. We hauled Callie back to Ava, Missouri, in 2003 for the World Championship show and came home with the Reserve World Champion filly. We were very happy about this accomplishment, but as pretty as Callie is her incredible way of going is her long suit.

We were so looking forward to starting her under saddle and introducing her to our "True" love and the reason we have this wonderful breed, THE MOUNTAINS. Unfortunately, Callie was injured in a fence, before we could do that. While Callie's injury was a huge loss for us, we are excited about the foals she's now producing. Callie is proving herself to be a great producing, brood mare.

In 2005 she gave us a palomino filly, Boss's Prairie Moon, We have kept Prairie and her page has been added to our mare section. Again, late in 2006, Callie gave us another palomino filly, Casey's Vanilla Sky.  She has gone to her new home to become a search and rescue horse. What a (pretty) and welcome sight she will be, to those she helps to find, that are in trouble.

Callie is in foal, and we are eager to see what she gives us in late March, of 2008.
