Dixie and Kokie, 06 filly
We consider Dixie "the Queen" of K bar K Ranch, as she is the foundation mare. This mare is incredibly intelligent, always willing, kind and very natural in her fox trot. She consistently passes on these qualities to her foals along with her beautiful head. She has proven herself to be a top producing broodmare. She is the dam of, Playboy's Kenmar Golden Gal "Callie" Rev World Champion, Playboy's Shoot the Moon, Top Hand's Dusty Blue Destiny, and Kenneth Morrison's herd stallion - Playboy's Perfection M.
We have held back 2 of her fillies as broodmares, and have kept Shoot The Moon a gelding out of this mare for our main riding horse. Her foals are easy to trian and are great in the mountains. You can see this geling on our gelding page.
In 2006 Dixie had a beautiful chestnut filly. Casey's Copper Coquette, sired by Casey's Shadow.
We had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of her 2007 foal, by our stallion, Playboy's Cascade Gold. She had a gorgeous, liver chestnut colt, tiny beautiful head and big lick way of going !!!
She will have a foal again in 2008, by our stallion Playboy's Cascade Gold. This is a cross that is WELL WORTH repeating !!!!!!!!!!!!
